Vobev is at the forefront of innovation producing high-quality aluminum cans for leading brands worldwide. As part of our commitment to excellence, we’re opening a summer internship focused on the Roller Storage System within our can making business unit.
Project Overview: We are looking for a dedicated student to join our team as an intern for the Roller Storage System Project. This project is a vital part of enhancing our can manufacturing process, ensuring the efficiency and longevity of our inker rollers.
Project Details: Develop a robust storage system for inker rollers used in can decoration, preventing flat spots and ensuring operational effectiveness for our Decorator inkers. You will utilize CAD software to design a durable and user-friendly storage solution, with deliverables including detailed design drawings for fabrication.
You will gain practical experience in CAD software and technical design processes specific to beverage can manufacturing. Work under the mentorship of a seasoned engineering professional. Experience and understand the Voice of the Customer (VOC), usability considerations, and problem-solving within a real-world industry setting. This is an opportunity for skill development in communication, project management, and data analysis.
Requirements:
– Must be an engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
– Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and technical drawing.
– Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
– Enthusiasm for innovation and a passion for making a tangible impact in the manufacturing industry.
