Engineering is an academically rigorous and challenging course of study. No matter which engineering major you choose, you may find yourself needing some extra help to succeed in classes.

Many of your classes will have Teaching Assistants (TA’s) assigned to the class who are there to help you with your questions. They have posted hours of availability and many are available outside of scheduled office hours if you cannot meet with them during the posted time. Each Department has a tutoring program set up to help support the work of the TA’s and Faculty. Please check your Canvas Page and your Syllabus for TA hours and Instructor Office Hours.

Each Department has Academic Advisors who are an excellent resource to help you find the support you need.

Please contact your TA, Instructor, and Advisor as soon as you feel that you need some additional help. It is much easier to get back on track if you seek help as soon as you need it.
