Moog’s Space & Defense Group in Salt Lake City is hiring an Associate Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team supporting defense products and contracts. This on-site role reports to the Sr. Engineering Manager and offers a collaborative environment with a 9/80 schedule (typical M–Th 7:00–4:00, every other F 7:00–3:00). You’ll apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspections, and quality methods to support customers, suppliers, and government agencies, help create inspection plans and program documentation, investigate and resolve chronic manufacturing issues, and support failure analysis and process improvements.
What we’re looking for
A Bachelor of Science in an engineering, analytical, or scientific field is preferred with 0–4 years of experience; previous quality experience, blueprint interpretation, and familiarity with manufacturing methods are a plus. Local candidates in the Salt Lake City area are preferred. Pay range: $29.00–$42.00 hourly.
