The University of Utah’s College of Engineering hosted its annual “Engineering Day” event Saturday, November 19, the college’s largest outreach effort in which hundreds of high school and transfer students from around the country come to the campus to learn about the seven engineering disciplines taught here.

The day was full of exciting and educational activities for the students, who all got to learn about important research being conducted in the college. Three half-hour sessions were held on a wide variety of engineering topics from blood vessel damage to flying robots as well as tours of the Utah NeuroRobotics Lab and the video game development studio called Entertainment Arts & Engineering among others.

Many thanks to the volunteers who organized and worked at this year’s Engineering Day and made it a successful and thrilling day! Click below to see photos of the day’s activities.
