Lazzi spoke at the IEEE Life Science Grand Challenges conference in
Washington, DC. Organized by the IEEE Life Sciences Initiative, this
conference provides a public forum for discussions and debates of grand
challenges in engineering life sciences and healthcare.

Experts from academia, government and industry gathered to identify
engineering grand challenges for addressing issues in the life sciences
and healthcare. Topics covered in this conference include engineering
solutions for major diseases and overall well-being, translation to
clinical applications, and training the next generation of healthcare
professionals.
