Aerospace Scholars Program

U of Utah has teamed with Hill AFB to establish the Aerospace Scholars Program, which will provide 50 internship opportunities with corresponding scholarships.

Apply to the Aerospace Scholars Program to build a career aimed at pioneering the next generation of air and space travel, defense, cybersecurity, software development, and much more! This unique program offers ambitious students the opportunity to combine University of Utah scholarships with hands-on internships at Hill AFB. Immerse yourself in cutting-edge aerospace technology and leadership training while completing your degree. Within the program, you will join a cohort of like-minded students and faculty who are already working to shape our aerospace-enhanced future.

Students at any point in the curriculum and in the Price College of Engineering at the University of Utah may apply. Students in all engineering departments may apply and those in Mechanical Engineering, School of Computing, and Electrical and Computer Engineering are highly encouraged. Successful applicants will be linked with an existing Hill AFB internship and the Utah College of Engineering staff will assist with supplemental scholarships. Once accepted, students can remain in the program for the entirety of their education, without any need to reapply on a yearly basis.
