Develop aerospace geared applications with metal additively manufactured materials. The successful application will”
– Assist in developing internal standards to produce additively manufactured parts, primarily using Laser Powder Bed Fusion, that satisfy aerospace quality requirements.
– Develop and execute plans to characterize AM material physical and mechanical properties, to evaluate the quality of AM material and to test the quality of the AM produced parts.
– Work with the design team, other Triumph Group sites, external partners and suppliers to adapt and optimize design models for the AM build process.
– Play a leading role in the development, improvement and implementation of additive manufacturing processes into Triumph’s design and development efforts.
– Exercise creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, developing, and delivering on designs of new products.
– Create mechanical drawings for additively manufactured components within each application.
