This Associate Product Engineer will sit within the Missiles business unit and support work on missile control actuation systems, including full technical responsibility for the assigned production program(s) within a Value Stream. This includes being the focal point for resolving all questions/problems concerning the design, manufacture, assembly, and test of production hardware. The Associate Product Engineer also initiates changes and deviations to the design or specification requirements and is responsible for test failure diagnosis. You will report to the Site Engineering manager and enjoy a 9/80 schedule on first shift!
As our Associate Product Engineer, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:
Provide production assembly/test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production. These instructions include formal Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures, engineering memos, and Electronic Historical Record entries
Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department. These include assembly fixtures and tools, production flow-line systems, and test equipment.
Assure and maintain design integrity, producibility and quality in development and production products.
Perform engineering analysis to assess non-conformances or technical issues that occur during assembly and test.
Develop RCCA analyses that ensure long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Collaborate with other Moog resources to resolve production problems, performing Material Review Board (MRB) analyses, and assisting in evaluation for possible notice of escape (NoE) to customers.
Coordinate with multiple departments to work through roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of hardware.
