The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is looking to hire a Civil Engineer with 0 to 5 years of experience. We are a government agency which strictly provides drinking water to approximately 750,000 people in the Salt Lake Valley. JVWCD has a transmission system with pipelines as large as 78-inch diameter down to distribution lines which serve individual homes in the Valley. We have 3 drinking water treatment plants, 40 wells, and 15 reservoirs. JVWCD is one of the largest water districts in the State of Utah and we are looking for an engineer to help design and oversee the construction of new infrastructure to support the increasing water needs of the Salt Lake Valley. In this role you will have exposure to a variety of different types of projects which involve the conveyance and treatment of drinking water.
